Which racks are compatible with the Dash RM bike seat?
The Dash RM is compatible with racks that meet ISO 11243 standards, have a load capacity ≥ 55 lbs (25 kg), width between 120–175 mm, and tubing diameter between 10–16 mm. The Burley Rear Rack meets these standards and is a great option.

Which rack should I use for the Dash RM bike seat?
We recommend the Burley Rear Rack for use with the Dash RM. It requires braze-ons or eyelets for safe mounting. If your bike lacks these attachment points, it may not be compatible. Alternatively, consider our frame-mounted seats, the Dash FM or Dash X FM.

Is my bike compatible with the Dash FM or Dash X FM bike seat?
The Dash FM and Dash X FM are compatible with most bikes that meet the following:
Wheel sizes: 26”, 650B/27.5”, 700C, or 29”
Minimum seat tube length: 4.1”
Frame tube diameter: 1.10”–1.57” (28–40mm)
Not compatible with carbon fiber frames or full-suspension bikes
If frame geometry prevents proper mounting, consider the Dash RM instead.

What is MIK HD, and will the Dash RM MIK HD fit my bike?
The Dash RM MIK HD is compatible only with MIK HD bike racks that come factory-installed by the bicycle manufacturer. There is currently no aftermarket adapter available to retrofit the seat onto a standard rear rack or a regular (non MIK HD) MIK rack.
Compatibility Requirements:
Only compatible with MIK HD racks that are factory installed by the bicycle manufacturer
Rack must comply with the ISO 11243 standard
Load capacity of rack: 55 lbs (25 kg)
The Dash RM MIK HD is not compatible with:
Standard MIK racks (MIK HD is the Heavy Duty version designed for carrying children and heavier loads)
The Burley Rear Rack
Moose Rack
Full suspension bicycles
Motorized vehicles (E-bikes are OK if the above criteria are met)
My bike has a preinstalled rack — will the Dash RM fit on my rack?
It may fit on your factory-installed rack, but compatibility depends on your rack’s specific dimensions. Your best option is to contact your bike manufacturer to confirm the rack measurements.
As long as your rack meets the following specifications, the Dash RM will fit properly:
- Comply with the ISO 11243 standard; Load Capacity of Rack: 60 lbs (27 kg)
- Width of Rack: 4.72 - 6.89 in (120 - 175 mm)
- Tubing Diameter of Rack: 0.39 - 0.87 in (10 - 22 mm)
If your rack does not meet these specifications, the Dash RM may not be compatible or safe to use.
